Lina Han is a consultant at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide/Shanghai (Ogilvy PR/Shanghai). She currently works on the Intel account specifically with the Channel Platforms Group (CPG) whose global headquarters are in Shanghai. Lina is the primary person on the account and works closely with the client to drive global strategy, coordinate global PR programs and draft content focusing on the channel and technology for emerging markets.
With a background in Corporate and the Technology sector, Lina has also worked on Special Olympics, Credit Suisse and the Swiss Government during her time at Ogilvy PR/Shanghai. She was previously based in a sister agency in Sydney, Australia, working on retainer clients such as MasterCard, Oracle, Avaya, Dell, EMC and VMWare.
Lina holds a strong interest and knowledge of the IT industry. She has counseled clients across the hardware and software fields of semi-conductors, IP Telephony, storage virtualization, database solutions and computing in both B2B and B2C related communication programs.
Being from a multicultural background and fluent in several languages, Lina has worked on many key international events and programs for Fortune 500 companies. Fluent in English, Mandarin and Italian – Lina has lived in Australia, Taiwan, Italy and most recently, China, where she has been based since 2006.
She is a native of Australia and has been a member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) since 2004.
Lina holds a B.A. Communications (Public Communications & Journalism) from the University of Technology, Sydney; and a B.A. International Studies (Italian) from the University of Modena, Italy.
