As an assistant account executive with Ogilvy Public Relations, Julienne provides support for a variety of technology and consumer technology accounts as well as new business activities. Julienne has a strong background in media relations, project development, broadcast communications, and international affairs.
Before joining Ogilvy PR, Julienne was an associate producer with WPXI-TV, the NBC affiliate station in her hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. While at WPXI-TV, Julienne wrote and produced the weekday morning news program and daily live webcasts. Internationally, Julienne has worked in South Korea as a U.S. Fulbright Scholar and in Taiwan as a political intern with the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT), the de facto U.S. Embassy. While at AIT, Julienne served as a diplomatic special events planner, public affairs coordinator and communications liaison between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Taiwan and the U.S. Department of State.
Julienne began her career as a public relations intern with Rubenstein Public Relations in New York City. Julienne earned a B.A. degree in international politics and Chinese language from Penn State University’s Schreyer Honors College with a thesis in Taiwanese democratization. She is a published writer whose articles have appeared in the Fulbright Review and Penn Statements. Julienne in bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese.
