Julia is a true expert in technology PR. She brings in a decade of experience in consulting companies and brands from the IT/tech sector. Therefore, she is familiar with both: the requirements of the German special interest trade and B2B media as well as the needs of the German consumer technology media.
As Account Director in our agency’s Brand Unit, Julia is responsible for the development and implementation of national and international PR campaigns mainly for our clients from the IT and technology sector. Due to her long-time expertise as PR consultant, she provides trusted, personal relationships to the key German special interest journalists and is always aware of latest industry trends.
In her daily business, Julia functions as responsible key contact for our clients of the tech PR sector as well as for the respective editors and guarantees a successful and seamless workflow within our international agency network.
Before she joined Ogilvy PR Germany in 2011, Julia functioned as spokesperson of iq media marketing and was responsible for the media marketing company’s internal and external communication for two years. Afore, she worked as freelance PR consultant for more than 6 years and was co-founder of the IT, technology and electronics focused PR agency deju public relations — Die Presseagentur in collaboration.
Julia started her career as PR trainee and assistant at geldermannKommunikation, Dusseldorf, where she first discovered her passion for thought-leading technology brands.
Julia studied German language and literature as well as media science in Dusseldorf.
