As an account director for Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, David Friedman is responsible for creating the strategy and vision for each of his clients’ PR campaigns and working with his teams and client contacts to execute on this vision. David has nine years of high tech public relations experience spearheading the PR campaigns of both established and emerging technology entities including IBM Venture Capital Group, Hitachi Data Systems, SAVVIS, Yahoo!, Sony Electronics, BlueArc and Protexis.

David’s vertical expertise within high tech spans multiple sectors including entertainment, healthcare and education. Prior to joining Ogilvy PR, David worked at the Hoffman Agency where he launched the US PR campaign for SingTel, Asia’s second largest telecommunications company. Earlier in his career, while at Middleberg and Associates, he served the Lucent Technologies account, as a member of the product media relations team.

Prior to his work at the Hoffman Agency, David spent five years at Text 100, where he helped establish the investor relations practice and channeled his passion of peer media into coordinating the San Francisco Peer Media event in 2006 and helping develop a new peer media product suite at Text 100. David holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Queens College, City University of New York.
