Caitlin Martin
Caitlin brings a broad range of skills in media relations and event planning to Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide (Ogilvy PR). Through her work for clients such as DuPont (Safety Resources, Personal Protection, Federal Government, Hybrid Membrane Technology, Lubricants and Renewably Sourced Sorona Carpet), LexisNexis (Government Solutions, Financial, Technology and Collections) and the Tech Museum, Caitlin provides expertise in building and maintaining media relationships.
For DuPont Safety Resources, Caitlin was responsible for media relations and event logistics for a press briefing product demonstration at the National Safety Congress’ Expo in Chicago, which received more than one million impressions from safety trade magazines and helped to foster key industry relationships.
Prior to joining Ogilvy PR, Caitlin worked as an account executive with JDG Communications in Falls Church, Virginia on federal and local government sectors, as well as the business-to-business market. She was responsible for the media relations and press briefing event planning for Business.gov, a re-launched federal compliance website managed by the U.S. Small Business Administration which generated more than 179 million impressions in five months. Her client work at JDG also included the U.S. House of Representatives, assisting with the communications for implementing a new internal financial system, USAID branding and identity standards project management and GSA Integrated Acquisition Environment project management.
Before moving to Washington, Caitlin worked in corporate communications at Federated Investors in Pittsburgh.
Caitlin graduated cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing, with a Certificate in Public and Professional Writing.
