		<description>I think that most people like learning about the latest gadgets -- or at least knowing what they are -- but that doesn't necessarily mean that they have an insatiable desire to buy the latest gear, they just like being in the know.   Unless they are techies, are rich or just have a lot of disposable income to toss around, they won't feel compelled to buy a new piece of hardware until the old one starts to wear out or something in their life changes to prompt them-- perhaps the laptop battery won't stay charged even though it's a brand new battery and the warranty is up on the laptop or maybe they realize they want music and video on their phone to work out with or they want to play catch up because their kids no longer think they're cool.   So long story short -- the average person just doesn't dwell on updating their devices that much unless something changes-- this is why you see so many people on the bus with older cell phones and laptops.  I know this wasn't your question, but I felt compelled to write about that.  Enjoy your day. :)</description>
