I'd love to have more "contemplation" time. That's when you have your best ideas (often in the shower because it's the only place where I don't check my bb.)

The idea of unplugging for PR professionals is a curious one -- do we ever really unplug ourselves? From Facebook to Twitter, to checking a news or gossip site in hopes of finding some relevant trend of connection to a client, do we ever really let go? Personally my blackberry and phone are the two things I check before I go bed and the first thing I look at when I wake up. Is that neurotic, or does that just show a desire to be informed on a personal and professional level?

I don't think we ever truly unplug - as PR professionals or as everyday normal everday citizens. There's far too much out there to see, enjoy, absorb, and reflect on. No matter what the purpose.
